Cork City’s newest park
Tramore Valley Park
Officially opened today.
It’s been a long time in the making and I am sure it will grow and develop into an amazing amenity for all.
Today Olympian race walker Robert Heffernan & his family took Centre stage as the guests of honor with Rob having a 2.5km walk named after him within the park. it was a pleasure to attend with my kids. You can’t help be inspired by Robs achievements and energy. Great to have the kids talk to Rob and the squad of world class race walkers he continues to coach which were also very generous with their time inspiring the next generation.
Brendan Boyce (Athlete) even showing the kids the finer points of race walking.
