Important Information

  • Firstly a day is 24hrs and there will a lot to fit in. So this will be made up of us travelling from accommodation to our 1st marathon run each day. This is not like running a typical marathon as we will have to keep very well hydrated and fuelled at all times. We will manage any issues as and when they happen, To maximise recovery we will look to plan our routes carefully to cut down long journey time. After each marathon we will need a break, change kit, & travel to next marathon, and into a new county, run 26.2 miles again this time on tired legs, eat, rehydrate, travel to accommodation, get cleaned up, more food and fluids, access any issues, physiotherapy, ice-bath, sleep and repeat.
  • Why not register to join us as places will be limited Click here to register to run.
  • Keep an eye on our web page, Facebook page, etc for the most up to date information.
  • While every effort will be made to keep to a schedule please check for updates or changes as I am sure no matter how well we plan there will unexpected issues from time to time. These are self supporting events and in a lot of locations will be looped courses so feel free to bring a table for your own supplies but above all we must me mindful of the generosity of others and leave each location clean. So what ever we bring with us leaves with us….
  • While each marathon will be a small event with the emphasis on the charity and not hosting lavish events, locations and courses will be picked for accessibility safety and a bit of scenery is always a plus. In some cases we may use looped courses which will allow others to do a little or a lot with us.
  • The challenge, Alex would be happy to be joined by fellow runners. Please refer to the route for locations and times. Every effort will be made to stick to times but a challenge like this will not be easy as we go from marathon to marathon each day and to our nightly accommodation not to mention the fatigue issue. So please check the day before if joining us and follow us on Facebook for the latest updates.
